In September 2014, I participated in a Lean Startup Hackathon in Sydney. In 48 hours with a team of 6, I developed a financial literacy product for kids & parents. With zero budget, we acquired 55 sign ups for the beta product before it was developed, netted $5 in revenue, and scored a Twitter endorsement from a NYTimes finance columnist. Our team finished 3rd out of an original group of 60 pitches.
